Blue Mountains, Australia.

On my previous post on the learning centre for the refugee kids, I have to say that my part in it was just as a guest to the event, supporting the good work a good friend and her team have been doing.

But thank you for the words of encouragement , especially from Betsy, George and Lina. Hope I can contribute more one day.

Anyway, my travelling mode (and mood) made me go through some travelling photos to share ......  hehehe....

Have a great weekend everyone!

28th. April 2012

Early morning trip with stopovers at the Featherdale Wildlife Park (read here) and fruit picking session, and few hours later we reached our destination..the Blue Mountains, New South Wales.

Travelling down to have better view of the valley ......   "whooshed!!!"...  down the steep train and we had to hold on to the rail...hahaha.

"The Three Sisters are a rock formation in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia. They are close to the town of Katoomba and are one of the Blue Mountains' best known sites, towering above the Jamison Valley. Their names are Meehni (922 m), Wimlah (918 m), and Gunnedoo (906 m)."
(wiki)

"The Sisters were formed by land erosion. The soft sandstone of the Blue Mountains is easily eroded over time by wind, rain and rivers, causing the cliffs surrounding the Jamison Valley to be slowly broken up."
(wiki)

Tried to upload the video of photos that I made using movie maker but got the "error"
messages every time...anyone knows why? ..I didn't have any problem before.

If not,   I'll try to share some other photos in future postings.

:-)

Thank you for going to your photo archives and sharing the Blue Mountains and Three Sisters with us. I've never been to that part of our world, but very much enjoyed visiting there through your pictures.

Where do you get so much time, energy and money of course, to travel all over the world. You would be in the Book of Records soon.
