Another year, another round of bowling..

For the record...two Sundays in a row I played bowling, one representing our alumni and another one in our alumni's inter-batches tournament.

Mr.Google

Hahaha...in not playing for many months after last year's tournament, to suddenly throwing the balls in a "crash-course", took its toll on me after the first Sunday...and I was given a two-day medical leave, and my body aches all over!

Luckily I recovered in time to play for the second tournament. :-)

Representing our alumni was great even if we didn't win as we, players from different years had the chance to get to know each other, some better than before...a pleasure indeed.

..but a week later...we became "enemies" at the inter-batches!...and I had already *warned* them not to play good games....but of course they didn't listen, with one of them became the best bowler!..hahaha...

Mr. Google

However, we went one up...my batch team became the CHAMPION!...yeay yeay!!!..

...with our second team in 16th place out of 26th, a good result considering most players didn't practiced, some had not played for many years....another yeay!!

So now we plan to train early, at least once a month...but mmmm.., lets see the outcome...I think we said almost the same thing too last year...hahaha...

Anyway, few days ago, got a pleasant surprise...I was 6th best bowler! Wow..

One of my throws  :-)

On that happy note, wishing everyone a great week ahead..sorry for not having the time yet to read everyone's posts...will try soonest possible.

Ta-daaa...!

Weekend there and here...

There (Cyberjaya) :

On Saturday attended our Alumni Day and the AGM at Cyberjaya...

One of the plans of the day was to have a volleyball game between alumni members and the school team, and because it was a clear and beautiful day compared to bad haze days before, we continued with the game.

Alas, we lost but it was a close one, 1 to 2. .with scores difference less than 5, and the last game we lost 24 to 26!...not bad for us who didnt practice before except for few minutes that day....hahaha...

Anyway, the record now is 1 to 1 as we defeated the team in December 2013...hehehe..

It was really a bright day that we could see clearly planes flew above us.

And talking about planes, after the event that day, a good friend of mine drove my sister and me straight to airport for us to catch the flight back to Kuala Terengganu.

Here (Kuala Terengganu) :

This photo was taken on my way to the hospital for a check up on my health.

Alhamdulillah (all praise to Allah) that I received  good news, just need to reduce my stress level... (time to travel again???)  .

Hehehe...

Summary : 2nd half of September 2013

Continuing from last posting up to mid-September..

Long weekend due to Malaysia Day on Monday 16th September : with some good friends we made a short trip to Lentang, Pahang for a 3D/2N stay at a resort.

On the second day, we went hiking for about half an hour to the waterfall

If previous trip to Tioman Island I didn't want to be under the fall.., this time I did, and enjoyed it! may be next time I would again..hahaha..

Made the way back to KL on the noon of 16th, stopped by the house, changed my travelling bag and my friends sent me to R & R Sg Buloh for me to hitch another ride to Kuala Kangsar...to attend the majlis "solat hajat" for PMR & SPM students at MCKK that same night.

All the best to them..the PMR students had just finished their exam..SPM coming this 6th November 2013.

Back at the office, was quite busy finalising the accounts for audit, that started on Thursday.

The weekend 22nd to 23rd I was on the move again...this time to my hometown KT for a short visit, as some family members were going for Haj.

Took some time to practice bowling with my nieces :-) ...

..On Saturday 28th, its our Alumni's annual bowling tournament :

My batch was 4th in team event and I was 10th best bowler! most probably because some best bowlers didnt play this year,  ..hehehe..

Sunday 29th : second year that I took part in SCB KL Marathon with some friends, some of us in 5km run(I walked actually..haha..) and some others in 10km.

Along the way I was enjoying the views of KL, took time to take photos..and finally at the finishing line I was caught on camera doing that !......hahaha...

[My nephew told me that he and his friends in school had a good laugh seeing that photo of me..., me and my camera..., I said luckily I didn't carry my DSLR! hehehe...]

The audit field work had finished and now to finalise it for AGM.

Meantime, now I'm back in my hometown again for Eid 'ul Adha  ~ so I'm wishing all Muslim friends and readers..

In "schedules" in the next few weeks are the Alumni's dinner, trip with some friends, then another journey to Kuala Kangsar and a volleyball match with students @Cyberjaya (don't know if I could still play... but I'll bring my camera surely...hehe)

No wonder my nephew's friend asked him recently..." does Cheqna stay at her home?"

hahaha...

Weekends on the road

When its gonna be my really free "stay-at-home" weekend? I feel like I've been here and there since November 2012...2 years in running and in active mode...(2012 and now 2013..got it??? hehehe...)

The previous two weekends were spent "holidaying" at my hometown ~ 10 days away...hmmm, how nice.

This week am back at my work place and the weekend "away" routine continued. Last Saturday morning was in KL running an errand or two...and then from noon onwards was in Cyberjaya for an Alumni programme.

Training to be a better "volunteer"

Early Sunday morning we were already on the road to Kuala Kangsar, visiting my nephew and for a rugby tournament at his school  :-D (no he didn't play rugby but my nephew said I should not miss this tournament as I had attended the first two..haha)

I enjoyed this year's games better. MCKK became the champ but I missed the final at 6pm as we had to make the 250km journey home by 4pm...

Actually I'm ok with this away status as long I'm able to do so, in good health and good spirit. I need to plan something so that I can look forward to the end of the week...hehe..and in saying so, I believe there is a carnival "WOW" at Putrajaya this Saturday to Sunday...am already thinking about it...haha..

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE!!

:-)

Been a while since I joined "Virtual Run" (VR), and with long MCO - Movement Control Order (and no interest from family members..h...
