Poem : The Rose

A single rose
Given by one to another
A single rose
Be it a friend, sister

A single rose
So good and pure
A single rose
May be the cure

A single rose
May dry the tears
A single rose
Wipes away the fears

A single rose
Represents many things
A single rose
To a memory, it clings

And if, by chance, that memory is bad
A single rose
Can seem so sad

But if, with luck, the memory is good
The rose stands proud
As it should.

Garden of Flowers

I admit to feeling stress lately with work...,

..it started early of the year and some time between end March and early April I guess I reached the height of it that I went to see a doctor as I was worried about my health.

Alhamdulillah it was not that bad...BP and sugar level ok..she said I just "need to take things easy and don't think too much". :-) ...,

but I really needed to get away for a while...and by chance my niece mentioned that strawberries at Cameron Highlands were in good season.

haha...that clinched it..I took 2 days leave and with my sister we drove up there.

But for this posting, I'm sharing the photos taken at the garden of flowers, located within the Agro Technology Park (MARDI) at Tanah Rata.

How soothing to see the lovely flowers....indeed a good therapy.

Have a lovely weekend to all my blogger friends.

Circular Quay

Continuing previous post (here) on our trip to Sydney...but I'm not going to write a long post, just sharing some photos that I took (and I have lots! hehehe...)

27th. April 2012

After we'd checked in and rested for a while, we took the bus to Circular Quay.

"Circular Quay is the hub of Sydney Harbour, situated at a small inlet called Sydney Cove, the founding site for Sydney and Australia."

We then decided to take a ferry ride...and ended up at Mosman Bay.

"The quay is a vibrant, bustling place with ferries leaving every few minutes to different parts of the harbour, including Manly, Watsons Bay, Mosman and Taronga Park Zoo."

Continued our sightseeing on foot after that.

"On the southern side of Circular Quay is a walkway that leads to the Sydney Opera House."
