A year ago on the 30th April, I was still in the Netherlands..the day that the Dutch celebrated their "Queen's Day" (it was actually the birth date of the former Queen but for a reason, maintained by the current Queen.)
And the "Orange"?
"Orange is the color of the Dutch Royal Family. The lineage of the current dynasty -- the House of Oranje-Nassau -- dates back to Willem van Oranje (William of Orange). But while the color orange has royal roots in the Netherlands, today it symbolizes a broader pride in the country and in being Dutch."
As my friend had told us earlier about this, we brought an "orangish" dress/headscarf just to join in the fun. But my friend came up with this :

Interesting day, but we were not lucky to be in the town the Queen visited.
After previous posts, I have to say here that I don't work for Netherlands' tourism...hehehehe..
