"Can you see the bird?", I was asked.
"Yes, I can see it"
"Do you want the binocs (binoculars)?"
"No, its ok.."
hehe..I was reminded of the conversation that took place years ago in Port Dickson (if I'm not mistaken) when I agreed to join my friend's bird watching trip.
This time I told her not to worry ~ I can use my video cam to zoom in...
(she didn't respond to that..tongue-tied may be??)
Even though I was not that keen to go bird watching (ha ha..), the thought of having the chance of going to Fraser's Hill for the first time was the winning factor :-)
And the night before she emailed to me this photo of most common bird to look out, "Silver Eared Mesia"...beautiful..

Surprisingly, I enjoyed this trip, worth the cricked neck..
(and I don't mind going again..hehe)
Syhhhh and look up... :-)
"Can you spot one?"
I saw this and grabbed my friend's arm..oh how she suffered.. :-)
My friend's comment in FB :
"OK girls, these were what we saw (after checking the field guide): racquet tailed drongo (hitam ekor berjuntai), fiery minivet (orange in colour), rufous woodpecker (aku rasa aku sorang nampak kau org dah jalan ke depan), yellow naped woodpecker, asian fairy bluebird ~ I rasa lah. And some others aku tak kenal."
From Google :

I should say the highest point about this enjoyable trip was the group of friends that I went with...our bantering all day long, our "counseling" sessions, walking in the mist and imagining we were overseas (hehe), the tuition on photography during our 3++ km walk...that made the whole day-trip more memorable..
Thank you dearest friends!
Alhamdulillah that I had a pleasant (first) time journey to Fraser's Hill.
