Stay healthy : making efforts.

Part 1

"I've completed my 10,000 steps!", I told my office mates one day happily.

I'd been walking to work few days a week since the month of Ramadhan (and they wondered why I started it in the fasting month!..hehe..)

So when I announced that in the second week, I was actually happy that I managed to maintain my effort.

But they told me,"...it's supposed to be 10,000 steps a day..."

"Ahhh?..laaa...ha ha ha...", I thought its 10,000 steps per month!..hehehehe...

Okay, doesn't matter..at least till now I've maintained walking to work at least once a week, after all it takes about 10 minutes to go to the office :-)..getting fitter with the brisk walk, Alhamdulillah.

Part 2

When Faraheen came down for her Taekwondo the other day, she needed to lose some weight to qualify for her category.

I was told that she did skipping for about one hour and managed to lose almost 2kg..wow!!!

mmm...that gave me an idea,

and so this week I invested in these 2 items :

hehehehe....

Info :

20 minute Skipping Programme

Skipping for 20 minutes will elevate the heart rate, working the heart and lungs, improving fitness and burning calories.

Each of the different skipping moves focuses on a different area of the body, giving you an all round workout, which you can do anytime, anywhere!

Well, these past few days I've managed to skip daily, between 15 to 20 minutes...

Not bad eh?

:-)

When you come to Nuri, I promise to let you have my special sandy beach over which you can do 10,000 steps to Pantai Cinta Berahi ( now they call this by a different name that I do not like) and back. Then I will give you special tapeh ladong prepared by Makcik herself with MY HELP! Promise?

Another one. I will allow you to step up to the top of my tree house. I am sure yiu have not seen one.
