In my hometown at the moment for the by-election for the parlimentary seat after the death of Datuk Haji Razali Ismail (semoga Allah SWT mencucuri rahmat ke-atas ruhnya..), Deputy Minister in Education on the 28th November, 2008.
The result of the election:
Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh of BN - 30,252 votes
Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut of PAS - 32,883 votes
Azharudin Mamat @ Adam (Independant) - 193 votes
(Mohd Abdul Wahid won by majority of 2,631 votes)
Voters turnout : 79.73% or 63,967 voters.
