Malaysia Airlines

In support of our National Carrier.

Most of the times I've been receiving good services when flying with MAS (not that the times that I didn't were bad)...and I especially love getting the extra peanuts!....hahaha....

The recent most memorable ones were during my trip with friends to Hanoi, Vietnam. Both journeys to and fro were made enjoyable with courteous, friendly and fun cabin crews..and them being helpful when I was not well at some point.

So...to the management, staffs and especially the crews...keep up your good work with your heads held high!

My recent trip back from Kuala Terengganu on previous Sunday, 23rd March 2014 :

The weather was great, clear blue skies almost all the way.

About 50 minutes later we safely landed at KL International Airport, Alhamdulillah :

When I saw the plane in my next picture, I remember feeling so sad for those on board of MH370..and praying for them.

...and at the same time feeling thankful and blessed that our flight landed smoothly and safely.

So again...thank you to everyone in MAS.

and to our government, the SAR teams from Malaysia and all over the world...

may Allah SWT keep them safe,

and  make it easy for them  to locate MH370 soon

and to everyone for their prayers.

Amiinnn Ya Rabbal'alamin.

Unplanned break and a TLC from family

I was supposed to take a short break for an appointment when I went back to my hometown the previous week, my post (here).

Didn't plan to be away for long but as I needed a rest, it became a WHOLE WEEK!. .Mum and family were happy...

(I guess!.....hahaha).

Anyway...my excuses for not being online much were :

1 - didn't bring back my notebook..and because there was no "mouse" at home, it became my excuse for not using much of my sister's notebook :-)

2 - I was supposed to rest anyway...hehe..

The last couple of days there, I felt much better. So for two evenings my nieces and I went for cycling at the monument park nearby. Been a while since I last ride..luckily none of us fell down..haha..

In front of the Crystal Mosque

Our reward  :-)

Having that whilst over-looking these....

Then its almost sunset and was time to go home..

.by car :-),

as the bicycles were rented..at RM5.00 for a half hour ride.

MH370 : Half closure

Last night when a friend sent a message telling me about the press conference that would be held at 10pm, my heart sank...I had a feeling that our Prime Minister was going to be a bearer of bad news.

When just before the announcement, another friend posted in my group chat a message that was sent to relatives informing them of the latest status, I started to feel down.

Praying and hoping that the plane and answer will emerge soon, giving full closure to this sad moment, amiin.

In the mean time, I'd like to quote some posts from FB :

**********************

"hate the governing party as you wish. that's your right. but to insult and humiliate your own country in light of an unprecedented crisis in world aviation history, despite all the well coordinated and impressive search and rescue efforts, just because you don't like the governing party, it's beyond being mere 'unfair' to the government. I would, in my personal and unrepresentative opinion, think that it's treacherous and shameful."

"MH 370 SAR.
Bear in mind that the members of the SAR team are risking their lives in the effort to locate the missing plane. The far part of the South Indian Ocean, which borders Antartica, is one of the most inhospitable areas of the planet. It is constantly subject to extreme winds and high waves with no significant land mass in sight. It is an extremely risky SAR operation.
Wish them luck"

"NO country has a monopoly on grief.

...remember, there are 239 souls on MH370, not just 152. The world has witnessed the antics of the families of the 152.

Malaysia lost 50 of its citizens. These are fathers, wives, siblings and children of quietly grieving families across our land. Indonesia lost seven people, Australia six, India five, with others spread over 11 other countries and territories."

******************************

To all muslims on board the flight MH370..AlFatihah
to the non muslims, rest in peace..

and to the families left behind, please remain strong.

Weekend there and here...

There (Cyberjaya) :

On Saturday attended our Alumni Day and the AGM at Cyberjaya...

One of the plans of the day was to have a volleyball game between alumni members and the school team, and because it was a clear and beautiful day compared to bad haze days before, we continued with the game.

Alas, we lost but it was a close one, 1 to 2. .with scores difference less than 5, and the last game we lost 24 to 26!...not bad for us who didnt practice before except for few minutes that day....hahaha...

Anyway, the record now is 1 to 1 as we defeated the team in December 2013...hehehe..

It was really a bright day that we could see clearly planes flew above us.

And talking about planes, after the event that day, a good friend of mine drove my sister and me straight to airport for us to catch the flight back to Kuala Terengganu.

Here (Kuala Terengganu) :

This photo was taken on my way to the hospital for a check up on my health.

Alhamdulillah (all praise to Allah) that I received  good news, just need to reduce my stress level... (time to travel again???)  .

Hehehe...

Pray for MH370

Been feeling sad ever since I heard the news on missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight to Beijing on Saturday morning, more so when I got to know that a friend's brother in law, and another friend's friend and her two daughters were on that flight.

Will keep on praying and hoping for good news soon. And my prayers for the families that they be strong in this trying hours.

As well as for the people and countries that are involved in the Search and Rescue..thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Been a while since I joined "Virtual Run" (VR), and with long MCO - Movement Control Order (and no interest from family members..h...
