Its only about 10-15 minutes from our house, yet I didn't have the opportunity to go to this Islamic Civilisation Park during my many trips back to Kuala Terengganu before, even though I've made few trips to Masjid Kristal (Crystal Mosque) nearby with my family and friends.
So a few weeks ago I made a pact with my nephew and nieces that "by hook or by crook", we'd go there during this Eid-ul-Adha holiday season..hehe..
Without much planning after 3pm, off I went to Pulau Wan Man with Nazeem, Faraheen, Batrisyia and Balqees.

Paid the entrance tickets for RM35.00 in total (free for children below 7 years), we each received this "passport". |
They wanted to take the tram ride but the driver was no where in sight. |

"Kubbah As-Sakhrah" of Palestine |

A few more photos to share :
Being in "Taman Tamadun Islam"[further info (here)] was like a journey to many places of the world. We were pleasantly surprised about the place as apart from the walkabouts, we also took the time to go into some theaters for the video presentations and the expeditions held at those places...interesting indeed for me and the kids.

It took us almost 2 hours to make the round but still, at some places we didn't cover fully as the smaller kids were restless, and at the end of it they (especially Balqees) were tired due to all the walking...
Ok, next time we'll use the tram or even hire the bicycles..hehe.
After all that, we had some refreshments here..
And before we went back, we made a de-tour to Masjid Kristal ("Crystal Mosque")

They were still sporting enough to pose for this photo, the other two wished to stay in the car. |
Happy with our achieved target, we promised to go to the Museum Losong next time, InsyaAllah, though Nazeem did say,
"Scary laa Che Na"
mmm..do I dare? hahaha...
