Update : diet and food craving

I miss updating my blogs. Have been feeling tired lately that I'd fallen asleep at early hours and as soon as my head hit the pillow..but tonite, am attempting to get back to "normal" hours..hope i can finish doing at least this post...hehehe..

A friend said that my tiredness might be due to my diet.. Diet?..what diet...ohhh..the on and off again diet...haha...i've been attempting it (err...seriously..) for the past few weeks but the more i try the more i have cravings to have this n that...

mmm...all those fried rice, fried noodles, cheese on toast, cheese sandwiches, chicken soto, roasted chicken, beef stew...etc, etc, etc...including two slices of this birthday "cheese" cake when i went to a friend's house the other day!





basically, i just love to be in the kitchen at the moment..n also love trying new recipes... :-)

..the other day, bought chick peas, and while I was boiling it, smsed Amal to ask for hummus recipe b'cos I really like the one she made when we had our gathering at her house a couple of months back.

but alas, didn't have the tahini paste (@ sesame paste), the key ingredient to make it. So instead, we ate the peas with fresh dessicated coconut (with sugar and pinch of salt) :-)





Help...my cravings are getting worse!...

...yesterday it was fried rice n i made it for breakfast AND dinner!..haha..


...and today it was pancakes... n since i'd never make it from scratch before, switched on the internet at around 7 am and check d recipe..luckily its simple enough and i had all d ingredients to make the batter:


1 cup of flour
1 cup of milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon of butter - melted
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2(half) teaspoon of salt
1/2(half) teaspoon of baking soda





tomorrow?..don't know yet but so far I'm still "safe" from any thought of food..ha ha..

  1. Wei loh! Bahaya cravings ni. Hok tu semua kita pung suka except the chickpea. Ada allergy pulok doh le ning. purrr....meow!

  2. Harap2 jgn la letih lagi lepas ni ye, sunyi benar bila tak ada benda nak baca :)

    Btw, 4 hari lepas kami pun rebus "chick peas" juga, untuk buat roti.... Nak jadikan cerita kacang tu tak cukup lembut (tak sabar nak makan punya pasal) Akibatnya kacang tak hancur bila diuli ha..ha.. tapi rotinya ok juge walaupun tak naik:)

    And on sunday I made pancake for Ilham yummy....

    mmmm...n may be i shouldnt he he he here and ha ha ha there...some said if u laugh too much can also plus d kgs eh?..bior betul..

  4. Dear I.a...hope not too..for d past 2 nites, i managed to "bertahan" till quite late..hehehe...

    i'll try to post as much as possible...but i realised yours also hv not been updated quite a while till the last one 2 days ago eh..hope u r ok over there.

    anyway...we have same good ideas eh..chickpeas, pancakes..

    but not roti yet thou i bought flour n yeast last week for that purpose..dont know when i'm going to try my hands on that..hehe..

    n btw...these 2 days i dont have any cravings...yaa hooo!!!!...
